The relaunch of the Green brand sought several strategic and important objectives. Firstly, to establish its brand, narrative, and offering as the de facto standard in Australian renewables: to be the industry standard.

To do this by delivering a level of quality, service, and support in the renewable energy space consistent with that of more traditional energy retailers: and delivered digitally through an excellent and clear user experience.

All accomplished within a compressed timeframe, with minimal impact on Green’s operations and without torching previous investments in areas such as search.

The approach

Responding to clear strategic goals, the product strategy was first to establish a true MVP with a clear cutover and migration plan while also establishing the start of a framework for a long-term product roadmap. Second, to get the user experience not only aligned with the aspirations of the Green promise but also focused on users taking action: becoming leads.

Working closely together, the Green MVP was developed and launched to coincide with the relaunch of the Green brand more broadly. Clear, bold language. Green as the heart of all things consumer and commercial renewables. Experience and brand elevated as per the Green promise.

Ready for longer-term product and digital growth: content, tools, campaigning and much more.
